NutriTrack
Eat better, one mission at a time.

What it is
NutriTrack is a gamified nutrition tracker for iPhone that makes eating well feel like a game you want to keep playing. Daily missions, streaks, points, and badges reward consistency, while an Indian-first food database — roti, dal, paneer, biryani, with regional names like “dahi” and “chaas” understood — makes logging real meals actually fast.
Everything lives on your device: your account, your diary, your progress. No server, no subscription, no ads. Currently in development, coming to the App Store.
How it works
- Log meals in seconds. Search 200+ built-in foods (plus USDA and Open Food Facts online), tap a household portion — a bowl, a piece, a glass — and you’re done. The right meal type is even pre-selected by time of day.
- Scan barcodes. Packaged food? Scan it. Previously scanned items work offline, and products you add get contributed back to the open food database.
- Complete daily missions. Five fresh missions each day across nutrition, hydration, sleep, and streaks — finish them to earn points and badges.
- Respect your diet. Set preferences like vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free and NutriTrack filters conflicting foods out of your searches automatically.
- See the whole picture. Calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber against your targets; water and sleep alongside; weekly trends, meal timing, and calorie balance — plus a home screen widget and two-way Apple Health sync.

Frequently asked questions
What makes NutriTrack different from other calorie counters?
Two things: it's gamified — daily missions, streaks, points, and badges make consistency fun — and its food database is Indian-first, with regional names understood too (search 'dahi', 'chaas', or 'bhindi' and it just works).
Do I have to weigh everything in grams?
No. Foods come with household measures — a bowl of dal, a piece of roti, a glass of chaas — so one tap logs a realistic serving. Grams are there when you want precision.
How does barcode scanning work?
Point the camera at any packaged food. NutriTrack looks it up in Open Food Facts and USDA's database; if it's missing, you can enter it once and it's remembered (and contributed back to the open database).
Does it work with Apple Health?
Yes, both ways: with your permission it writes your meals, water, and macros to Health, and reads activity, weight, and sleep to give better context.
What does it track besides calories?
Protein, carbs, fat, and fiber against your personal targets — plus water intake and sleep, with weekly trend charts for all of it.
Is my food diary private? Is it free?
Your diary, profile, and account live entirely on your device — there's no server. And yes, NutriTrack is completely free: no subscription, no ads, no locked features.
